Learn To Fish in The Smokies!

Teaching beginners to fly fish is a specialty at Little River Outfitters. They have been in business since 1994. The store and school occupies a 7,000 square foot facility in Townsend, Tennessee about 15 miles from Pigeon Forge. Townsend is a center for East Tennessee fly fishing. It is located near the Great Smoky Mountains, many tailwaters, Cherokee National Forest and several TVA impoundments. In fact the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is only two miles from the store.

So if you've always wanted to learn how to fly fish or your spouse or friend wants to learn, give Little River Outfitters in Townsend TN a call. If you want to advance the sport by learning to tie flies, build rods or learn about the streams - they are the experts in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. Check out the Little River website

Spring Wildflower Pilgrimage April 23-29, 2007

I absolutely love wild flowers. They are so fragile yet such a powerful statement of the almighty hand of God - how awesome !! The Spring Wildflower Pilgrimage is an annual seven-day event in Great Smoky Mountains National Park consisting of a variety of wildflower, fauna, and natural history walks, motorcades, photographic tours, art classes, and indoor seminars. Most programs are outdoors in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, while indoor offerings are held in various venues throughout Gatlinburg, TN.
