Pigeon Forge Rod Run April 11-13 ~ Love It Or Hate It ?

Pigeon Forge Spring Rod Run - April 11-13, 2014 ~ Love It Or Hate It ?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ready or not, it's just 2 weeks away..  The sound of engines roaring, the distinct odor
of burning rubber and gas, bright shiny paint jobs, cars, cars and more cars on the Parkway in Pigeon Forge!
The rods, the muscle cars, the beaming show cars, the classic Chevy Super Sports and Ford Mustangs are just the start! Then there are the car lovers !!! There in all their glory with shirts matching their beloved machines! It's a hoot, really...
Do you love it or hate it?? We love it even though the traffic can be daunting! You can read more of my thoughts about Rod Run here.
The Spring Rod Run Event and Vendors will be in the new location -
Leconte Center - Pigeon Forge Teaster Lane just off the Parkway
Pigeon Forge – Are You Ready For Paula Deen ?
Pigeon Forge will soon boast a Paula Deen restaurant called Paula's Kitchen.. By late this summer, her company Paula Deen Ventures plans to open a 20,000 square foot eatery in the newest retail and entertainment center in Pigeon Forge – The Island
Paula's Sweet Shop and Coffee will also be part of the location as well as her signature retail shop.
The Island is located just off the Pigeon Forge Parkway and Teaster Lane near Stoplight #3 and boasts an arcade,  shops, restaurants and the Smoky Mountain Wheel, an incredible 200 foot – multi-color lighted ferris wheel that can be seen from one end of Pigeon Forge to the other !
I have not eaten at a Paula Deen Restaurant yet, hopefully I will this summer in Pigeon Forge.
